Desiree Hernandez is the founder and principal of Colibrí Consulting Collective, a systems and strategy practice supporting mission-driven founders, startups, and growing teams. With a decade of experience leading equity-focused initiatives, Desiree specializes in turning visionary ideas into clear, actionable systems that help organizations scale with clarity, alignment, and purpose.
She has built cross-functional programs, launched high-impact services from the ground up, and designed internal infrastructure that empowers teams to work with more consistency and less chaos. Her work spans project planning, operational systems design, onboarding and delivery setup, and fractional ops leadership — always rooted in values of collaboration, equity, and sustainability.
Before launching Colibrí, Desiree led large-scale transformation efforts within public institutions — helping teams navigate limited resources, coordinate across silos, and deliver meaningful results. From building student service centers to launching multi-stakeholder programs, her leadership has always blended strategic thinking with people-centered design.
